Console Games Bundle
Well, I finally decided to get it. A few days ago, I finally made the difficult decision to buy the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle. Okay I admit it's not really that difficult because I got a real bargain. When I received the package mail, I could not contain my excitement. After all, the Nintendo Wii Fit is the latest innovative games and workout machine in the market today!
What's In The Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle?
As I unwrapped my package of Nintendo Wii Fit with anxiety, I find that there are quite a number of items included. There's the Nintendo Wii game console (which I also bought in the bundle), the Wii Fit Balance Board and a peripheral accessories such as the console stand, remote for the games console, nunchuck, AV adapter & cables. Included with the Balance Board is a software disc that contains activities and exercises such as yoga, body balance, strength training and aerobic exercise and routines. My game console Wii is also come with 5 games Wii Sports Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing.
Now, you will need the console Wii games before they can make use of Wii Fit system. When I prepared my first purchase, I noticed there was a lot of packages sold to unbeatable prices the Web. But beware, most of them do not understand the Wii game console! You only pay for the bundle. Ultimately, you may end up up paying more if you buy them separately. If you do not have the Wii game console, the most economical choice is the Wii Fit complete system that retailers tend to wrap the package with it a more attractive price.
My Workout Experience On the Nintendo Wii Fit
After I configure the Wii Fit, I started working on it with a heart rate monitor strapped to my wrist. It took some time for me to get used to the navigation menu but frankly, they are fairly easy to use. It may take some time off the duration of your exercises but I'm sure we can minimize once I get more familiar with the system.
What I noticed was some activities gave me as good a workout as I expected. The section football game was a disappointment and did not even raise my heart rate above the minimum. And when I compared my statistics across activities such as yoga, weight training, aerobics and Balance, the aerobic section stood out.
My favorite was by far the game Hula Hoop. As I tried to balance keep all the circles in the air while catching some more, my heart rate was increased to 172bpm. Not only was it a good workout, it was quite fun and enjoyable.
Perhaps you may be wondering: "So do you think of the Nintendo Wii Fit is a good way to lose weight?". Personally, I do not think Wii Fit can really help you lose much weight given the nature of activities involved. Maybe one or two pounds per week. But I'm sure they'll be very effective in another department of your life.
