The mind blowing American rock band, Bon Jovi is from Sayreville, New Jersey. It was formed in 1983 by frontman Jon Bon Jovi on stage. Other performers include the band Richie Sambora as a guitarist, David Bryan as keyboardist, Alec John Such as bass and Tico Torres as the drummer. Alec John Such left the band in 1994 and was replaced by Hugh McDonald. The remaining band members had been the same since 26 years. The years 1984 and 1985, scored two moderately successful albums of the band. But the group received much more in 1986 with the release of Slippery When Wet. In 1988, with the release of New Jersey, Bon Jovi has been raised in global super stardom.
Fame provided non-stop touring for the band. In 1990, after the New Jersey trip, the group has suffered a break. At that time, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora has released solo albums. The album, Keep the Faith brought the group in 1992. Since then, the success was with Bon Jovi through the years 1990 and 2000. The latest of these is the circle. In 2004, Bon Jovi was in 14th position in 50 Q Magazine's All Time Greatest Bands. In June 2009, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora have been inducted to Songwriters Hall of Fame as composers and collaborators.
"When We Were Beautiful" is a documentary created by Phil Griffin portrays the ups and downs of Bon Jovi during the 25 years. It also Band on their latest Lost Highway Tour. This documentary mad its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2009.
In June 2009, Bon Jovi recorded a cover the song "Stand by Me" with the Iranian singer Andy Madadian. Part of this song has been sung in Persian. This song was a sign of solidarity for the Iranian victims of violence.
After the success of the Lost Highway Tour, the band began to write and record a brand new Material with the help of producer and writer John Shanks. This album should be honored November 10, 2009. The first single from the album, we were not born to follow "has been released for U.S. radio stations by August 17, 2009. This song speaks of the difficult economic times. This song is for the Crystal game ahead of the Wii Final Fantasy Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. It is the first of a series that has been known for the use of J-pop.
